The Apple Legacy

Steve Jobs is literally the man behind the wheels. The wheels that make apple have a whole new definition. Apple was just a fruit or maybe the “city that never sleeps.” But because of Mr. Jobs, Apple is “i.” Not really sure of the definition of that single letter that made a challenge to technology to become more innovative and unique, but the man behind the “i”dea really revolutionized the world of geeks and tech-aficionados.

This day, as I type these letters and compose this blog post, thousands and thousands of people are grieving and mourning for the loss of Jobs, not really their occupation but instead to some – a father, mentor, leader, inspiration, etc. Unfortunately, I did not have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to personally talk to him, or maybe just even to see him in person, but some of the gadgets I have give me an opportunity to see his thumbprint. In the contrary to everyone's feelings right now, at this very moment, I have a little smile on my face with the reason of how a man can touch the lives of many, without even personally talking to them or seeing them in person.

I salute the man who tried fulfilling his dream by living it and doing it. Yes, you left so soon, but you finished the race very well. The legacy goes on. Passion spreads like a virus. To the man who reinvented the definition of the word “apple,” Kampai!
